City is coming off its most successful road trip of the year and looks to come out on top in this battle of first and second place teams.  A win will push the Lions lead over Rochester to a commanding 11 points.  The offense will hope to continue the momentum from the 2nd L.A. game last weekend and to continue integrating new players in the midfield.   George Davis may see action off the bench after being acquired from L.A. in exchange for Max Griffin.  Denis Chin and Matt Luzunaris will strive to maintain their recent scoring form.

The defense will look to extend its clean sheet run to three games and the whole team will want to increase their unbeaten streak to eight.  The first and second choice defenders are all close to the peak of their form and will want to maintain that while heading towards the playoffs.

Rochester is having their most successful season in recent memory and will be looking to place some more space between themselves and Charleston.  The Rhinos are playing the second of two back to back games after Thursday’ tie with Wilmington.  They will want to run their own unbeaten streak to four and get their 9th clean sheet of the year.  That will be a very tall task against the Lions.
